Web

The SATT designs, develops, maintains, and hosts McMaster branded, AODA compliant websites. The Web Team also creates bespoke, custom applications where the need exists and provides accessible content training to SA staff as required.

Technical Support

On-demand support is provided for all end-user computing resources including desktop and laptop computers, mobile devices, peripherals, and all common business applications. In addition, the SATT works closely with our clients to manage the lifecycle of SA IT equipment and coordinate the purchase and deployment of new equipment as necessary.

Application Support

Full support is provided for mission critical business applications in each SA department. These systems include OscarPlus, Clockwork, OscarEMR, AbleMed, Infosilem, Databee and Fusion.

Infrastructure

The SATT administers and maintains the infrastructure required to run mission critical applications for all Student Affairs departments. This includes running in-house server virtualization, partnering with UTS for resources and utilizing the Microsoft Azure cloud environment. The team also ensures the security of SA applications, data, and the underlying computing resources.

Project Management and Systems Integration

The team provides project management support for Student Affairs departments including systems evaluation, requirements gathering, implementation planning, and scheduling. Integration of SA data with other campus solutions and departments, while maintaining security and privacy requirements, is also facilitated by the SATT.
